SAFETY TIPS FOR SRV 620 RAMMER

 

  •  Protective clothing such as a hard hat, safety shoes, protective gloves and ear protection must be worn.

 

    • SRV 620 RAMMER should only be operated by a suitable personnel who are at least 18 years of age.
    • Operators must be instructed on how to guide the SRV 620 Rammer. 

 

OPERATIONAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR SRV 620 RAMMER
Starting

  •  Bring the gas lever into full-throttle lock-in position.
  • Open the fuel cock .
  • Push the choke lever to the right (close).
  • After the engine has warmed up, slide the choke lever to the left (open).
  • Slowly pull the handle of the reversing starter until resistance is noticeable.
  • Allow the handle to glide back into the initial position, and then forcefully and completely pull it through with both hands.
  • Allow the engine to warm up for a few minutes.
  • When starting the soil compactor in closed premises, always ensure a proper ventilation - danger of poisoning

 

Tamping  

 

    • Bring the gas lever into full-throttle lock-in position.
    • Use the hand guidance rod to guide the tamper .
    • Only run machine within reach of the manual guidance rod.

 

Shutdown  

 

  • Never stop the engine while it is running at full speed, but let the engine idle for some minutes.
  • Bring the gas lever into idle position.
  • Close the fuel cock .
  • To shut off the engine push the gas lever back beyond the idle lock-in setting I During breaks—even if they are short—the machine must be shut down. 

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

MAINTAINENCE TIPS FOR SRV 620 RAMMER

 

  • After the first 10 operating hours the engine oil must be changed and re-tighten all accessible threaded connections.
  • After every 50 operating hours/every 6 months the air filter insert must be cleaned, checked for damage and replaced if necessary.
  • After every 150 operating hours sub filter must be cleaned, checked for damage and replaced if necessary.
  • After every 150 operating hours/every year the oil of the tamping system must be changed.

 

 

TESTING THE SRV 620 RAMMER
The SRV 620 RAMMER must be clean and have a service tag to ensure that the workshop completed the standard service before returning the asset to the floor.
The SRV 620 RAMMER must be taken to the testing station applicable where you will test it in front of the customer whilst demonstrating the operation of the machine to the customer.
Ensure that the required safety attire is worn, the operation instructions have been read to the customer and that the customer is in a safe location before testing the machine.
