Operation Instructions

Preparation: Place the machine on a stable, level surface.

Check that the hydraulic oil level in the power pack is adequate.

Inspect the press frame, loading platens, hoses, and controls for damage or leaks.Switch on the electrical power supply.

Prepare the Test Specimen

Ensure the concrete cube, cylinder, brick, or block has been cured according to the required standard.

Clean the specimen and remove any loose particles or debris.

Measure the specimen dimensions if required for strength calculations.

Place the specimen centrally on the lower platen.

Ensure the specimen is correctly aligned so the load is applied evenly.

Start the hydraulic power pack.

Operate the loading control valve or automatic loading system.Increase the load smoothly and continuously at the rate specified by the applicable testing standard.

Continue loading until the specimen fractures or fails.

Record the maximum load reached before failure.

lowly release the hydraulic pressure using the release valve.

Allow the upper platen to return to its starting position.

Remove the broken specimen carefully.

Calculate the compressive strength using:Compressive Strength = Maximum Load ÷ Loaded Area

Record the test results according to the relevant testing standard.
