Operation:
Tilt the machine: Tip the grinder backward onto its handle to expose the bottom plate.
Install shoes: Slide or lock the diamond tooling segments firmly into the magnetic or bolted slots.
Level the unit: Lower the machine and adjust the wheel height or weights until the grinding head sits completely flat on the floor.
Check cord path: Lay the power cord and vacuum hose over your shoulder to keep them behind your path of travel.
Start-Up Procedure:
Position yourself: Stand behind the handlebars with a firm, two-handed grip.Lift the head slightly: Tilt the machine back just enough to take pressure off the diamonds before starting.
Turn on vacuum: Always start the dust collector before starting the grinder.
Power on: Turn the master switch to the “On” position or press the green start button.
Operation Technique:
Keep moving: Never let the machine sit spinning in one spot, as it will gouge deep holes into the concrete.
Use overlapping sweeps: Walk slowly backward or forward while swinging the grinder head side-to-side in smooth, overlapping arcs.
Check tool wear: Stop the machine every 15–20 minutes to clear packed dust and check for diamond glazing.
Shut-Down and Cleanup:
Power down: Press the red stop button and wait for the grinding heads to come to a complete stop.
Unplug unit: Disconnect the main power cable from the wall before touching the tooling.
Vacuum edges: Use a hand-held grinder with a dust shroud to remove epoxy near walls and corners where the big machine cannot reach.
This equipment creates dust. Wear a suitable mask.
