Grinding and smoothing metal surfaces.
Step 1: Carry out a pre-operation inspection
Step 2: Fit the correct grinding disc- Remove the battery before fitting or changing accessories.
Step 3: Install the battery
Step 4: Prepare for operation- Wear safety glasses and a face shield, hearing protection, suitable work gloves and protective clothing.
Step 5: Start the grinder- Keep the disc clear of the workpiece.
Step 6: Grind the material- Bring the rotating disc gently into contact with the workpiece.- For a standard depressed-centre grinding wheel, maintain approximately a 15°–30° angle to the work surface.
Step 7: Stop the grinder safely- Lift the disc clear of the workpiece.- Move the slide switch to OFF.
Hand protection must be worn while using this equipment.
