Compaction of soil in trenches and foundations as well as paving applications
Starting:
Turn Petrol on
Turn the power switch to ON
Open Choke (Butterfly closes off the air flow)
Pull the recoil until the machine starts
Close choke (Butterfly opens the air flow)
Running:
The machine can move both forwards and backwards
Thickness of the layer to be compacted can be up to 250mm
Soil should be slightly moist, 6-8 passes with the machine at its normal pace will be optimal
Always run the machine at full power. Avoid over compaction
Stopping:
Turn the power switch to OFF
Turn the petrol off
Refuelling:
Allow the machine to cool down before refuelling
Ensure petrol switch is off before refuelling.
Machine may not be running whilst refuelling.
Do not smoke or use a cell phone whilst refuelling.
Remove fuel cap and place in a clean dry area within reach of the machine.
Pour the fuel into the tank.
Replace fuel cap and move fuel container.
Do not place any plastic bags around the fuel cap as this will close the breather hole in the cap.
Do’s and Don’ts:
Avoid hitting the machine at adjacent structures or rocks etc.
This equipment creates dust. Wear a suitable mask.
Industrial footware with steel toecaps whould be worn while using this equipment.
Always wear on construction sites and with this piece of equipment
Eye protection must be worn while using this equipment.
