Starting
Ensure all components are fastened tightly
Fill up the engine with fuel
Fasten the seatbelt
Insert the key in the ignition and turn it to start the machine
Operation:
Adjust your direction (forwards/backwards) using the lever on the side by either pulling it back or pushing it forward
Adjust your angle with the wheel
Compact in layers of 200mm-300mm (Soil should be moist if possible)
Compact till desired soil density is achieved – (Do Not Over Compact)
Engine must run at full speed when doing compaction work
Roller must come to a complete stop before changing direction
Stopping:
Once the machine comes to a stop, turn the key out of the ignition
Close the centre console
Refuelling:
Ensure petrol switch is off before refuelling.
Machine may not be running whilst refuelling.
Do not smoke or use a cell phone whilst refuelling.
Remove fuel cap and place in a clean dry area within reach of the machine.
Pour the fuel into the tank.
Replace fuel cap and move fuel container.
Do not place any plastic bags around the fuel cap as this will close the breather hole in the cap.
Eye protection must be worn while using this equipment.
This equipment creates dust. Wear a suitable mask.
Always wear on construction sites and with this piece of equipment
Industrial footware with steel toecaps whould be worn while using this equipment.
Ear protection must be worn while using this equipment.
